I was thinking about privacy and internet data and all that, and I remembered Asimov's Foundation series. Wouldn't the various databases filled with our search histories be a good place to build psychohistory?

Right out all those databases are pretty much useless with only a decades worth of good data in them, but if they had an entire generation's or several generations of data available then psychohistory becomes far closer to being possible.

Maybe Asimov got closer to the truth then even he imagined.
